drawing more than 100mA current from the device

Hello everbody!
We want to connect an accessory via a lightning connector (C68A/H) to an apple device. This accessory should draw more than 100 mA from the device (ca.300 to 500 mA). Is there any way to this without interposing a cable and a C37 Connector? Or if there is no way around the C37, is there a way to only use a C68 and C37 Connector and no cable?

Best regards!

You've asked a hardware question via a software forum, one which I suspect is MFi-centric, as well. Are you MFi certified?

Yes we are [an MFi developer]

If you’re an MFi developer, you can take advantage of MFi’s own informal support channel or, if that doesn’t work out, open a formal MFi tech support incident. You can find details of both of these resources in the MFi portal (look for Obtaining MFi Developer Technical Support under the Articles section).
