Want to advertise on Search Ads

Hello
i have one paid app on apple store and i want to marketise that on Search Ads and i see that apple charged CPI (cost per install) so now my question is you are going to charge CPI or CPC ?
i means for example i set $1 CPI so how its duducts from my account ?
like if someone click on my search ad that time or only if user purchase my app and install it on device ?
can you please guide me how its work so what i can understand and start my compain as soon as possible.

Apple Search Ads are CPI.
