Hi, I use both books. "Intro..." is for beginners, after that, "App Development..." is good next step. The lessons in the "Itro..." are fully prepared for using in class. They have theoretical materials and labs. This course contains 10 parts that correspond to 10 weeks of Term. This is a very well balanced course with gradual material complexity. It has some drawbacks, nevertheless today it is the best course for teaching the Swift programming language for beginners.

If you change the sequence of teaching, you may find that your students will ask very different questions. And it is not necessary that these questions reflect important topics in learning a programming language. I would recommend to leave a sequence of topics. On the other hand, the teaching of each specific topic can be supplemented with your own materials.

It would be convenient have several topics inside this thread, apart for each book
