App Development with Swift OpenRestaurant.app certificate revoked

I'm working through the App Development with Swift and at the end of unit 5, in the Restaurant Guided Project the OpenRestaurant.app fails to open. I right-click the file, select Open from the drop down. The prompt that is displayed says: "OpenRestaurant" can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash. When I select the question mark button in the bottom-left cornet of the window a Mac Help window opens with the article: The app's authorization has been revoked.


Solutions I tried so far:


Does anyone have any suggestions on possible fixes?

I just started this project today and have the same problem opening "OpenRestaurant". I'm running on 10.13.3. The permissions suggestion did not fix the problem. Also, tried run in safe mode, same problem. Very excited to do this project. Hate to quit right now. Please help!

You have to download it from the "Student Material" but that one that is in the "App development with Swift Teacher's Guide" on page 7. Then ctrl + clic and select "open" in the menu. Accept the security dialog box and it will work fine.


I'm running on High Sierra 10.13.6.
