Camera issue with FaceTime on Mojave Beta 4

Hi there,

In this 4th beta, FaceTime doesn't recognize the camera, but Skype does.

And i can't find what i can do to force FaceTime to ask me once again access to this device.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Christophe

Same issue here definitely stopped working with Beta 4.

A "Me too" for FaceTime and PhotoBooth ....However, as noted, Skype camera is working (and Google Hangouts).

The camera isn't showing in System Report and VDCassistant doesn't appear to be running.

The exact same thing happened to me. A fresh install of Beta 4 fixed the camera issue for me.

Very strange, but after connecting an external monitor, my FaceTime even after a fresh install stopped working with no camera connected. Oddly enough, Skype is the ONLY application with access to the camera via Security & Privacy in settings.

Same issue with me... Skype and iGlasses works for me in Mojave 10.14 beta 4. However any of the original Apple Apps, like Facetime or Photobooth not only dont recognise the inbuit camera, there seems to be no hardware driver available either.

I HAVE reinstalled Mojave 10.14 Beta 4 and still no camera.

I HAVE formatted the HD and installed a fresh copy of Mojave 10.14 beta 4 and NO camera

I HAVE done a timemachine restore of Mojave 10.14 Beta 4 and NO camera..

So this is a bump for me.. Hope it gets sorted.

I have the same issue as everybody else...has anyone submitted a bug yet?

UPDATE: I created a bug for this.
