Hi all - has anyone else been having a nightmare with DNS on the Beta 1 release? Nearly every process has intermittant or permanent failure to complete DNS lookups. Chrome is working because it's bypassing system process and using it's own lookup, but Safari, etc, are all failing for me right now. Anyone else seen this?
Are you using Little Snitch?
It's not compatible and the end result looks similar like a DNS problem: nslookup and dig work, but you can't ping out using DNS.

Yup, this was the issue. It was odd, previously the kernal extension just fails to load and LS just disables - it seems the behavior is a bit different this year. Uninstalled and everything was fine. What was odd was that - immediately after install, I got the usual kernal extension warning and everything was fine. It only went downhill after a reboot. Odd, but solved. Thanks for the suggestion.
