XCode crashes while debugging GPU frame.

Hi there,


I've got a crash when I try to analyze an OpenGL frame when using XCode 9.0.


It is 100% reproducable and happens when debugging any iOS device. This didn't use to happen and is causing

me to be unable to optimize my app.


The frame capture, profiling of the shaders and finalisation works fine, it crashes in the "debugging GPU frame" phase.


ASSERTION FAILURE in /Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/GPUDebugger/GPUDebugger-23173/GPUTraceEditor/GPUTraceFramebufferSubEditor.mm:194

Details: representedObject should be an instance inheriting from GPUTraceFramebufferItem, but it is <GPUTraceResourcesItem: 0x7fb1e9c99ea0>


Is there anything that can be done about it?

I also have the same issue every time I try to debug GPU. Have you resolved the problem yet?

Same here. It's always been unstable, but was so useful, I could put up with the frequent crashes, but haven't been able to get it to work at all under XC 9.
