Apple Campus AR? Any more infos about the technology?

It has been a while since apple introduced its campus ar. Since then, I wonder how they solved that technically.

The precision is incredible.

Does anyone have any idea how this was achieved? Unfortunately, I could not find anything, and I'm also surprised that nobody else cares. :-)

Which aspect of that example are you wondering about?

This looks like standard ARKit tracking to me.

A great model is being displayed, this is all about the content, the tech. is fantastic but nothing we aren't using every day in ARKit applications. Or am I missing something?

That 'standard' should change with today's v1.5 release that supposedly gives ARKit the ability to detect vertical planes in the field, such as walls, vs. just the floor as before.

I maybe missing something, but how is that standard when it's optically tracking an uneven surface and actual physical massing model (probably doing shape recognition and using the guide lines, but how?) and doing this overlaying of AR with that kind of accuracy?

Would be good to know how they did achieve this kind of accurate overlay and how the approached it.
