Unable to upload to App Store after Mac OS High Sierra update (xcode 9)

Anyone else getting false errors in App Store submissions about missing image assets since updating to High Sierra? Worked find before I upgraded my Mac on the weekend.

Upload iOS 11 Apps: app icon failure


Note the submission process icon/image assets warning states that for XCode 9 and later, you should submit the App Icon in the build - be sure to add that icon to the related asset catalog/well, not just at the root level in the project.
