Dinner Plate

Hi there,


I'm looking to create an app which tracks your dinner plate and fills in any gaps where the plate is visible with video content.... Should be easy right?


Where do I start?

iOS does not have a video codec that preserves alpha channels. Therefore, there is no direct support for playing a movie with an alpha channel over some background.

Oh man, there’s so many apps that already do that. SpaghettiMovie, Plate Flix, Hollywood Bowl. You sure you want to enter that crowded space? Just kidding! Hope it works. I’d download it.
