i am using PhotoShop to make some page designs for an app. Apple says the initial size should be "2732-by-2048 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi)"...264ppi? Not the normal 72ppi?

264 is the hardware/display resolution spec.
Whan generating images for your app, anything over 72 is wasted.
As for working w/PS fo iOS, you might want to only use it w/the devrocket plugin, as PS isn't that iOS savvy otherwise...
