iTunes 12.7

After installing macOS High Sierra Update Build 17A306f itunes 12.7 doesn't recognized any device execpt the Apple T.

Does anybody have the same problem? Tried several ipads and iphones with ios 11 and ios 10 no chance to get any device in iTunes.
Mac recognise the devices like the photos app for example without error.

I am having the very same problem. After latest update of High Serria. This really ***** because we have 3 Iphones, 3 ipods, 2 Mac Airs. I tried reloading all devices to no avail. Apple youve got to get this fixed. Is it mcOS or the new itunes 12.7. Either way it needs to be adressed.

i also has the same issue. i find a solution. step1: run csutil disable under the restore mode. step2 : after boot , remove the beta iTunes.app.

install 12.6.1 latest stable version.

Correct, but will you still be able to sync and acces iOS 11 Devices? And what about Apple configurator? Will that work as well?

Here is another workaround which will allow the devices to be recognised in itunes 12.7.

To fix iTunes 12.7 consists of 3 parts:

A. Downgrade components (but not itunes itself)

B. Mount devices

C. Upgrade components again.

Details:

A. Downgrade components.

1. Close iTunes if it happens to be open and disconnect ios device.

2. Download and install each of these:

B. Mount devices.

1. Open iTunes

2. Now plug in your device. It should mount now in iTunes 12.7.

C. Upgrade components

1. Close iTunes and disconnect ios device.

2. Download and install each of these:

Seeing the same thing which is frustrating as you want to be able to send sysdiagnose, logs and other captures to help solve these issues ! 🙂

Unfortunately this didn't work for me, tried it twice. Even before this I see the idevices listed in the system information USB area but iTunes is not seeing them since the 12.7 update 😟

UPDATE - Did this a 3rd time and it now worked. Specifically what I did this time was a reboot between A & B and another reboot between B & C, then one final reboot after C, all working well now and idevices mounting again in 12.7

I have a bug raised on this, hopefully we see this fixed soon

Tried these steps as stated and mine now is seen in itunes. Lets hope it continues.

I got it to work without restarts.

But another thing I did which I did not previously mention is that I disconnected the device in parts A and C.

I think restarting would have the same effect.

So I have edited my instructions, not actually to put in restarts, but disconnects in parts A and C.

All my devices are syncing in 12.7 except for my Nike+ workouts on my iPod Nano. It doesn't even have the option anymore. I hope this is just a bug.

Thanks for posting. I've been dealing with this most of the week. What a PITA. The device would be recognized and manageable when they were in DFU or Recovery mode. Not sure how this got past the QC department. They must be on holiday or something. Also having issue where ~95% of my unlock via Apple Watch 2 is failing starting with Beta 2 and now 3.

Thank you so much!!!!

I did this, but even on iTunes 12.6.1 I can't connect any Apple device (in addition to that, I can't share internet from an iPhone via USB because of this). But, after all, having 12.6.1 I can't see 12.7 again on the available update list (it still appears as if it's installed).

Same issue here.

Did a clean install yesterday iTunes 12.6.2 was in stalled no update to iTunes 7 must've been pulled had it prior to clean install
