WatchOS 2 b2 - Xcode b2 "no symbols for paired Apple Watch"

Hi.

I just installed Ios 9 beta 2 with WatchOS beta 2 and then Xcode 7 beta 2. When I want run my app on my devices I can't because there is "no symbols for paired Apple Watch". Xcode try to download the symbols and after un short time stop it.

Anyone else have the same issue ? What can I do to fix it ?

Thank you.

I have a simmilar problem.

When I connect my iPhone, Xcode has a status line saying it is installing the symbols for the Watch.

The text then disappears and my iPhone becomes inaligible for debuging WatchKit extentions due to "lack of symbols"

(iPhone 5s with iOS 9 - Beta 2 , Xcode 7 - Beta 2, Watch OS 2.0 - 13S5255d)

I decided to run Xcode from command line for possible error traces. It seems that my Xcode is unable to download and mount a file called 'Watch1_1_13S5255d.dmg'. First URL returns 404 and the second URL which is done with my (Admin) team accounts fails with 403.

Perhaps you should too open terminal, run

/Applications/Xcode-beta.app/Contents/MacOS/Xcode

then connect your device and see the traces

Below is a trace from my Xcode:

Same thing just happened to me. I submitted a bug report:

Updated to latest iOS9 beta2, watchOs2 Beta2 Xcode Version 7.0 beta (7A121l).

Tried to run Apple Watch App on watch (paired, but no symbols for watch - even though it said transferring symbols).

Got "Gary's iPhone 5s is not available" error.

I can run the same iPhone app on the same iPhone without any error.

Same code ran fine on the Beta 1 code (when it would load on the watch).

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Install all latest betas.

2. Try to run Watch app.

Expected Results: Watch app should load and run.

Actual Results: Xcode displays error "Gary's iPhone 5s is not available" even though it is shown on the top bar with the watch paired.

Version: Xcode Version 7.0 beta (7A121l), iOS 9.0 (13A4280e), watch OS 2.0 (13S5255d)

Configuration: iPhone 5s 32GB Verizon, Apple Sport Watch

I came here to ask the same question. I'm seeing the same behavior... (no symbols for paired Apple Watch) in my Build/Run drop down menu.

In beta 1 I was able to get past this by simply disconnecting and reconnecting the phone. No luck so far. I've tried restarting both devices to no avail.

I tried it on an iPhone 5s and an iPhone6. Same results.

A solution has been found by monokakido in the other thread I created about this topic:

https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/3380

It is not solving my problem, the file's been removed.

I think you misunderstood monokakido's post. The first link is where the symbols SHOULD be downloaded from, but aren't available there. The second link is the file to download and I just confirmed is still available.

Edit: that, and make sure you're logged in to the developer portal before attempting the download.

Both links are not working. And also I need to download the symbols for my device which is 13S5293f
