WWDC Tickets

Last year we received them on the 27th of May. Given the event is a week later this time around, expect to see them sometime around the 3rd.

What exactly do the tickets do? Don't we get passes on the first day?

Yeah, but to get your badge you need to provide your ticket. It was a wallet (passbook) ticket last year, which was made available through the official WWDC app. 😉

You don't need the ticket to get the badge and to get in, but it does speed things up at the registration and it's pretty cool. Also, last year if you didn't register with the Passbook (before it was wallet) pass they would print this barcode on the back of your badge (normally it would be on the pass) which takes away some of the space you could be using to get sigs. 😎
