Respiratory Medication Adherence

I’m not entirely sure to how the current version of ResearchKit framework can directly be used to measure and monitor respiratory medication adherence, but I’m sure there can be a custom module developed that would handle this scenario. If routine data can be collected from a participant through a sensor device for example, which would capture medication usage it could serve as the data source for such a module.

Alwashmi, my suggestion is to begin by including a simple framework, such as a manually entered adherence diary. That way you can workout what you want to record now, and what you might want to later. There are some electronic metered dose inhalers coming onto the market which would be a useful tool to integrate.
