I'm experiencing a heating issue with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The device heats up even during light usage, such as browsing, checking social media, or using simple apps. It becomes noticeably warm, even though I'm not running any demanding tasks like gaming or video editing. I’ve tried restarting the phone, closing background apps, and ensuring that iOS is fully updated, but the problem persists.
Has anyone else encountered this issue with the iPhone 15 Pro Max?
What could be causing my device to heat up during regular use? Are there specific settings or steps I can take to reduce the heating? Is it more likely to be a software-related issue or a hardware problem? Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated!

I frequently use my iPad to develop remotely in VSCode or prototype designs in Figma. This is currently all done in the browser. Given that many of these experiences rely heavily on the keyboard I was hoping there would be a solution to make a keyboard persistent on the screen, or at least a few hot keys.
Is it possible for me to develop an accessibility tool that could stay persistent on the screen? Perhaps something that would talk with assistive touch? Or is that in Apple’s no no square?
Hi i have an app built by Cordova and Vue.js, and IOS cannot recognize the new prompt, when the old prompt still exist, and in android it works good.
Facing issue in earphone not working in iPhone 12 after updating iOS 18.1. It is so frustrating. Can anyone have any solution to this? Nothing is happening after resetting or rebooting the phone many times.
Does giving the ability for blocked users to still view the users who blocked them, despite not being able to reply, retweet, or otherwise directly engage with that user go against Apple‘s TOS for user created content? It feels a bit ambiguous.
Hello, I have a question regarding the voice and sound recognition features on the iPhone 15 Pro.
The iPhone 15 Pro is equipped with four microphones, and I understand that for features like Apple’s sound recognition and when invoking Siri, the microphone(s) must always be active. My question is whether the device uses a single microphone (mono channel) for these functions or if multiple microphones are activated simultaneously.
I would appreciate clarification on how the microphones are utilized in sound and voice recognition features.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards.

Apple's testers tell me that "the app does not meet all requirements for apps that offer highly regulated services or handle sensitive user data," (however, the APP does not offer any type of regulated service), which is why which indicate that it must be published with a user of the Apple Developer program as an organization and not as an individual.
How can I correct this problem?
I am trying to create Apple Push Notifications service APNs, but the following error occurs.

I got a UIControl, and I want to make it behavior like a custom UIAccessibilityElement.
UIControl *control = [[UIControl alloc] init];
control.isAccessibilityElement = NO;
CustomAccessibilityElement *elem = [[CustomAccessibilityElement alloc] initWithAccessibilityContainer:control];
elem.isAccessibilityElement = YES;
// some custom setting here
control.accessibilityElements = @[elem];
It worked well with an iPhone 13, iOS 15.5.1, but crashed with an iPhone SE, iOS 15.4.1 and the crash msg is :
"-[UIAccessibilityElement _addAccessibilityElementsAndOrderedContainersWithOptions:toCollection:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x283b7c680"
Can you tell me the reason ?
Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone,
I am experiencing random and untimely disconnection issues with my iStorage diskAshur external HDD/SSD while using macOS. I have already contacted Apple Support but unfortunately, they could not provide a solution and suggested I reach out to this forum for further assistance.
Has anyone else faced similar issues with the diskAshur on macOS? If so, what steps did you take to resolve the problem? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
I am working on capturing 48MP images using the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the Ultra-wide camera. I’ve updated the code to capture the maximum supported dimensions with the following snippet:
if #available(iOS 16.0, *) {
photoOutput.maxPhotoDimensions = device.activeFormat.supportedMaxPhotoDimensions.last!
photoSettings.maxPhotoDimensions = .init(width: 5712, height: 4284)
}
However, I’m still not getting the expected results. My goal is to capture 48MP images, and I want to confirm if the Ultra-wide camera supports this resolution or if I’m missing any other configuration.
Any guidance would be appreciated!
I am developing an app using DeviceActivity.
let schedule = DeviceActivitySchedule(
intervalStart: DateComponents(hour : 0, minute : 0, second: 1),
intervalEnd: DateComponents(hour : 23, minute : 59, second: 59),
repeats: true
)
I found that on the second day, intervalDidStart(for: DeviceActivityName) gets called multiple times.
I also tried
let schedule = DeviceActivitySchedule(
intervalStart: DateComponents(hour : 0, minute : 0, second: 1),
intervalEnd: DateComponents(hour : 23, minute : 59, second: 59),
repeats: false
)
and started monitoring for the next day in the intervalDidEnd(for: DeviceActivityName) method.
but , intervalDidStart(for: DeviceActivityName) still gets called multiple times.
How should I resolve this issue?
Went to privacy and security on iPhone 11 and development mode is not there
accessibilityUserInputLabels is working fine with any view I tried this on. Meaning that the control can be toggled with the provided alternative names when using Voice Control.
When setting this property on any UIBarButtonItem though, it seems Voice Control ignores the alternative names provided by setting accessibilityUserInputLabels. For comparison, accessibilityLabel works perfectly when set on UIBarButtonItem.
Is anyone facing the same issue?
Using Xcode 16.0 (16A242) on iOS 18
Can it please be explained why the voice memo layers is exclusive to iPhone 16 pro models?
I was told by apple support that if it was possible on older models Apple would have implemented it.
This type of functionality has been in technology for tens of years and has a proven track record of being implemented across so many different platforms and even apps in Apples on App Store. So that response from apple support is just rubbish to be honest. Even if the response is “so we can sell the iPhone 16 pro“ then so be it. ive noticed Apple locking software features to new devices lately and it’s genuinely making me think about buying my first even android phone.. because I really don’t support these kind of scummy tactics.
many thanks,

After updating to iOS 18, I've noticed that my app's icon displays correctly on the home screen but appears with a black background in the 'Settings > Apps' section when Dark Mode is active.
The icon currently has a non-transparent gradient orange background, and I haven't set up a separate icon for Dark Mode. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone have suggestions for how to ensure the app icon looks the same in Dark Mode as it does in Light Mode?
