Despite that I have expired all "old" builds when my testers download the update they get the old version. In TestFlight it states the new version.
Any insight would be really appreciated.

How old, in days, is that old version? Is it the last build you submitted? Internal or external testers?
Same issue. It send files from march 1st, and i published 20 builds last 15 days.
Still have screen from march 1st.
same issue here. seems to be reproducible when i use ADD EXISTING Testers before Apple has reviewed the app: Users get the update email from testflight but the version gets stuck.
could resolve it every time by removing and adding the testers and then use ADD NEW. unclear (untested) if it would also be resolvable via ADD EXISTING after being reviewed.
