Anyone's submission was rejected because of this? Our App doesn't have any third-party or external payment mechanisms, and I have removed all relevant codes, but still failed in last submission, don't know what happened...

Guideline 3.1.1 - In-App Purchase


We noticed that your app contains a payment mechanism other than in-app purchase for digital content or to unlock features or functionality within your app, which is not appropriate for the App Store. In-app purchase is the only valid in-app payment mechanism for digital content.


Note: Continuing to hide functionality within your app or other dishonest acts may result in the removal of your apps from the App Store and termination of your Apple Developer Program membership and all associated memberships.


Next Steps


To resolve this issue, please remove all external or third-party payment mechanisms and implement in-app purchase to facilitate digital good transactions, including unlocking features or functionality within your app.


If you believe your use of an alternative payment mechanism is a permissible use case, please respond directly to this message in Resolution Center with detailed information.

Same here!!! Our app which was already live for 3 months just got rejected. We don't have any other paying SDK and only using Facebook SDK for login.... No dodgy WeChat SDK, Tencent SDK or AliPay SDK, etc...

I suspect in my scripts I used varible somethingPayInfo and function Pay().... I'm wishing in my case the stupid Apple bot simply rejected all scripts with "pay" word....


I am renaming all those and will try submit again.

It will be GG is the stupid Apple bot not even liking "purchase"..... We are in Unity and using the IAP plugins which having full of the word "purchase"....

Please report back. But I'm unsure if the naming of Symbols is the reason, but who knows.


My theory is.


1. SDK with a billing API

2. Ad network with Offer Walls

3. External link to a Website (even your own)

4. Classes names like Shop..., Store....

We had the same issue. We removed the rewarded videos and the app went through.

Wow. Which Rewarded Ads SDK you have removed?


Or you just removed the Button in you game?


My app doesnt show "Rewarded Ads" in the game, but of course I used Ad Networks which has that in their SDK. Bummer.

My app is being getting rejected for the same reason. I don't have any payment gateway in my app and it's been a month. I did try calling apple, mailing, report to resolution, but all in vain. No response from apple team very poor. Please anyone can help me with this, how can I submit my app to store.

Here me to, but i have an other reason 3.1.3b Multiplattform bla but our Service falls under 3.1.3f, i am very anry because of this. I dont offer any paid service for app users, just use admob to finance. i dont know what i should do, resumit 10 times, what they want from me, never spend so much time for a unclearable reason
