What is the earliest supported MacOS version that the Unity plugins will work on?

Hi. The earliest version of MacOS that Unity supports is 10.13. However, it seems that running a game using Unity Plugins on 10.13 causes DLL loading exceptions whenever you try to access part of the GameKit API. The errors look like this:

These errors do not appear on 10.15 or later, which is why I am assuming it's a problem with this particular version of MacOS. Have not been able to test 10.14 so not sure how it handles there.

So, here is my question - what is the earliest version of MacOS that the Apple Unity plugins support? It's not documented anywhere on the GitHub page.

Apple's Unity Plugins were released in 2022 whereas macOS 10.13 was released in 2017.

That said, I would expect the most robust support from macOS 13 onwards.

Don't think I can edit the post, but forgot to mention an importannt bit of information - this is using core 3.1.4 and gamekit 3.0.0.

I see. Thanks for the response. We need to know which versions of MacOS we can support. Right now the lowest version Unity supports is 10.13, which is what we have targeted so far. But if the plugins are not expected to work for that version, we can drop support for those versions since they are integral to the online experience of our game.

The reason I am asking is because since there is no explicitly stated lowest supported version, I was not sure if the fact that it does not work on 10.13 is a bug, or intentionally not supported. Having some sort of "minimum OS version requirement to run" on the GitHub page would be helpful for this purpose.

Thank you for enquiring and raising good points about being transparent about supported versions of macOS (and Unity) for the plugins.
