Is it possible to install Xcode 15.2 on macOS Monterey 12.7.3? If yes, how?

  • I'm encountering a challenge while deploying my React Native app to TestFlight and App Store Connect due to an SDK version mismatch. My current macOS version is 12.7.3, and I'm using Xcode 14. The App Store requires iOS 16.1 SDK and my current version 16, so upgrading Xcode necessitates upgrading my macOS to 13.5, which is not feasible for me as the upgrade for that version 13.5 is not provided in my Macbook Air. So Is there a workaround to deploy my app without buying the new mac device.

No, it is not possible. It requires at least MacOS 13.5.

The latest release you can install with MacOS 12.7 is Xcode 14.2.

That sucks big time. Freaking have to buy new mac just for using Xcode.

same issue, I got an operating error when I upload my ipa to app store connect. How to solve this issue? The only way is to buy a new mac and setup the local dev environment again?
