Is it possible to increase the size of the font used in Xcode? The larger text accessibility option has no effect whatsoever. Any help would be appreciated!

If I understand correctly your need, you can do it in Xcode preferences:
In the themes, select default, and change the font size for any type of text.

You can also zoom in/out in the editor using command-plus and command-minus keys.
