I am using Xcode Version 14.3 (14E222b). I build my project - it succeeds, but I get a lot of errors shown, that obviously do not exist. Once I click on the error, it disappears. Some of the errors are shown for code that I have removed by comment. I tried to "clear all issues", "clean build folder" - and the old errors are still shown. That really annoys me, because it was hard to find real errors. Is there a way to remove the old stuff?
Xcode always shows old errors
Now something strange happened: I tried the app on a real device, and all errors disappeared. When I switched back to the simulator device I used, the errors came back. Then I tried a different simulator device, and when I switched back to the simulator device I used before, the errors were not shown again. Is there some documentation where I could discover the reason behind this (for me) strange effect? I am not annoyed anymore, but still curious ;-)
I was able to fix this by cleaning the build folder
i got into xCode in 2018, this was a problem then, and it's a problem now. cleaning build folder doesnt help, at least not for that long.
same here, always been an issue since i got into it in 2017. xcode gets worse every year, i dont even debug on hardware anymore as it's too slow. xCode is hard work
