While testing the web page, I discovered that the tinted area in Safari simply ignores light shades in the range from #fff to #e9e9 approximately, displaying instead only white color. If this is Apple’s deliberate restriction in favor of contrast tabs, then this looks silly. Can’t tabs adapt to any color environment?
