Xcode template "iOS game swift SceneKit" run with error as shown. It might be related to scntool. Any idea how to fix this?

I was wondering if there was any update on this issue, as it still persists. Apple / anybody else have any idea how to get their demo app working?
i think its connected to the movement of the CLT into the Xcode.app.
Removing the # before scntool in the Target Build Rules fixes the error.
