I'm trying to open a DMG file in Google Chrome and it opens to crazy gibberish and freezes Google Chrome. Oddly, it downloads as normal in Safari.

Does this have something to do with the browser or maybe the DMG file itself?

Sadly I can't share the specific file.

It had something to do with how it was packaged.
