Unable to deploy apps from Xcode to watch

I'm not able to build and run on watchOS.

I see this error:

The device “Apple Watch” is not available because there was an error downloading its symbols. Please see the underlying error message for more information.

I believe this is the "underlying error"

Same here: XCode 14.1 Beta3 and watchOS Beta 9.1. All combination of reboot/restart lead to same bad result. Can be triggered repeatedly from XCode Device window by (de)selecting "Connect via network.

The permissions issue for the watch symbols should now be set correctly. Please try again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • No it is still not working. Sorry don't you have deploy rules which should check if the symbols are available before releasing a new os version?

I am facing the same issue with the life version of watchOS 9.1.

Says the console:

I've installed the Xcode 14.1 RC2. This now downloads the watchos 9.1 symbols. Now the apps can be deployed. Crazy, that this is not released together. Sorry but this were 4 hours of worktime.
