I noticed after upgrading Xcode up to 14, that when I edit the code the asterisk in the tab beside the name of the file is not shown anymore. So it seems there's no visual response whether a file is edited or not.
is this a bug or intention?

I didn't notice such indication in previous versions of Xcode either, as Xcode 13.
