How to make bootable install thumb drive for Ventura

I know the process for previous MacOs. If its the same process, how can I get the install file? I am using Intel silicon.

  • When I try the command to make the disk I get a "command not found" error.

    From terminal patrickstrodel@Patricks-iMac-2020 ~ % sudo /Applications/Install\ MacOS\ Ventura.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume --nointeraction sudo: /Applications/Install MacOS Ventura.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia: command not found

FWIW, I did create a Ventura bootable installer "successfully" on my M1 MacBook Air. However, it does not show up in Startup Disk or Options, so I can't boot from it. I seem to remember something about booting from an external may be disabled during beta testing but I don't know that for sure.

Thank you for your response. I ended up having to put the Macbook Air in DFU mode because i could not get it to boot form the thumb drive.
