Xcode 14 cannot debug iOS 15.5

I installed Xcode 14, and cannot debug my iPhone with iOS 15.5, the error says, these two are not compatible.

in the developer website, it says, Xcode 14 can debug up to iOS 16. why is this discrepancy.

Also, I found in the Appplication/Xcode/..../DeviceSupport, the iOS SDKs are only up to 15.2

  • hold on, there could be a confusion in the version on the website and the version upgraded from App Store, I will try upgrade again, to see what is going on
