macOS Ventura Default Web Browser Setting Missing

The "Default Web Browser" setting appears to be missing on MacOS Ventura beta 1 - beta 3.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click Apple Menu
  2. Select System Settings > General
  3. Observe that Default Browser setting is missing
  4. Search Settings for “Default Browser” and notice that the setting is missing

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Any suggestions to resolve or work around this?

Thanks!

Do you have multiple browsers installed?

  • Thank you @mikeyh -- problem solved! 🙏🏽

I had multiple browsers installed, but the issue is due to (a) the setting location being moved in Ventura and (b) the setting not showing up in settings search results.

    Thanks again for your help.
