Support for Passkeys

Hi, I would like to know the following regarding Passkeys:

  1. Will Apple support Passkeys to authenticate against it's services like icloud.com, store.apple.com, etc?
  2. Will third party password managers like LastPass and Bitwarden to act as Passkey client authenticators in the same way they are currently allowed to authenticate via username/password on Apps and Websites?
  3. Can Apple access my Passkeys inside iCloud?

Apple doesn't comment on future plans :)

All data stored in iCloud Keychain, including passkeys, is end-to-end encrypted. This means it's encrypted with keys that Apple doesn't know. A more detailed explanation of how this is achieved is available in About the security of passkeys and material linked from there.
