Embed Base64 PDF on Safari 15.5

Hello there,

I´m trying to display an in-line base64 pdf file on Safari 15.5. This solution was working on older Safari versions, but not with Safari 15.

I´m using the following HTML tag:

<embed src="data:application/pdf;base64,JVBER...">

Am I missing something, or is support for viewing PDFs in base64 no longer available?

It is probably a security restriction. There are quite a lot of people who work full time looking for security exploits in Apple products. If the exploit involves a feature that isn't very common, removing said feature is a quick and easy fix.

Hey loduarte,

Did you get any solution to this problem? Embed Base64 PDF works fine till 15.3 version and its not working in 15.4 and later..
