Xcode Download does not work > says wrong OS Version

Hey All!

i am trying to download xcode from the App Store and i am stuck at the download screen because it says that my mac os is outdated. I tried direct download, which worked, but nethertheless xcode cannot be opened because of a similar message (lower part of the attached image). Any ideas? thank you!

Xcode 13.3 Release Notes:
"Xcode 13.3 requires a Mac running macOS Monterey 12 or later."

Your MacBook is able to run Monterey, so you would need to update to Monterey first, then install Xcode.
