Monterey 12.3 Update Not Showing Up

Hi, it's been several days since the official release of 12.3 and my system is still reporting no updates available while sitting at 12.2.1.

  • Posting cut short - my actual question is two-fold. First, is this normal/expected behavior and I should just wait patiently and second, is there any CLI magic I can do to force an update endpoint or the likes? Thanks in advance!

I am having the exact same issue with same specs as yours (M1, 2022) and I also tried using the CLI "softwareupdate -l" but there was no luck. Try to download the update from App Store, it works sometime.

  • Thanks Alizain. Quick clarification, are you saying that you go to the AppStore and grab the Monterey installer and let it run and it may grab the new update?
