Xcode 13.2.1 download speed

Anyone able to download latest Xcode? Trying to download latest 13.2.1 and its so slow. Have high speed internet.

Where do you download from ?

Try from here instead of AppStore:

  • Oh my gosh this. I have 500 megabits down and was <10% after hours of downloading from the app store. It took <5 minutes going through the developer download portal.

The download is ridiculously large (on the order of 15GB) because it comes bundled with all the simulators. It might be that you're downloading it at a reasonable speed, but progress just seems slow since you can't see any kind of speed or progress details when downloading via the App Store.

I had the same issue... While I was searching in the forums I found out that the default DNS settings are may causing this problem. For example you can add the Cloudflare DNS Servers 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 to your DNS settings. This should resolve the download issue. Hope it helps!
