Notarizing app with electron-forge crashes OS after upgrade to Monterey

After I updated my MacBook (m1) to Monterrey it crashes twice a day at random times so I have to do a hard reboot. But this is more or less tolerable even though quite frustrating.

The thing is, that now I cannot notarize my electron app. Trying so makes sistem non-responsive, so I cannot even reboot properly. Reproducible 100%

So my work has stopped. I cannot release new version of my app. Please help. Do I need to downgrade to previous OS version? That would be very sad, AFAIK the only way to do so is clean install, so it will take lots of time to setup environment again.

Honestly, it sounds like you need to resolve this issue first. Your Mac should never require a hard reboot [1]. If it’s happening twice a day, something is really wrong with your system, and it’s likely that your other problems stem from that.

Unfortunately that’s not something I can help you with; you need to discuss this with Apple Support.

[1] Just as a baseline, I usually only restart my primary work Mac when installing software updates. Every now and again I have to restart it to clear some problem. I virtually never hard reboot it, maybe once a year or so.
