Xcode tabs seem to have their own window location/size

With Xcode 13.2.1, whenever I click on a tab within my Xcode project it jumps the Xcode window around. I have to resize the Xcode window for every single tab. Surely this isn't intended behavior?

I'm experiencing this too, it's bizarre. I usually work with XCode full screen but with my new wide monitor, have it on one side. I'm spending most of my time chasing the window around the screen.
