xcode preferences components tab blank...

I recently updated to xcode 13.2.1 and have noticed that the component tab is empty. I am able to open simulators for various iOS versions that were installed. In the past it has had a list of supported simulators that could be downloaded as required. This is installed from the app store and was happening both after an upgrade and a clean install.

MacOS Monterey 12.1. Mac Mini 2018.

Solved?

2 days later... this seems to have fixed itself.
I can now see the Simulators, as expected.

Maybe Xcode just needed to download more items, and sort itself out?

Xcode is still 13.2.1 (13C100)

I had the same issue. SwiftUI Previews cannot load, Tips: '/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator15.2.sdk/usr/lib/swift/shims/System.h' has been modified since the module file '/var/folders/hd/64g86r110qq26_sj_p88w9x81mrjx0/C/clang/ModuleCache/12TRQXIDQ8QQD/SwiftShims-2TTN5UXQBRCCQ.pcm' was built: mtime changed

How can I resolve it?

I agree, this doesn't look as expected.
But I can still choose to run an iOS app on a range of Simulators.
I see:

Xcode 13.2.1 (13C100)

Interestingly, the same issue was reported here on the forum, for Xcode 9.3.1.
That led to a bug report being submitted, and the issue eventually went away.

That looks like a very last minute regression of Version 13.2.1 - 13C100.

Xcode 13.2 RC (Version 13.2 - 13C90) was OK:

Probably only a display issue, as simulators are effectively there. Someone in Xcode team has to check its handling of Tableview delegate or datasource func. 🤤

Same problem. Xcode 13.2 (downloaded form developer website) was fine but Xcode 13.2.1 (downloaded from app store) is no good.

I have the same issue, Xcode 13.2.1. I downloaded Xcode 13.2.1 from developer site, installed along with Xcode 12.5. In Xcode 13.2.1, I can use iOS 11.4, 12.4 , 13.7, 15.2 simulator, however, iOS 14.5 simulator is missing and the components tab is empty...

My work computer was just updated yesterday and the preference page lists no simulators for download. The simulators available to add are only ones I had previously downloaded.
