Trying to use the new Apple Configurator and I am seeing it is not going to work on any macOS device below Monterey.
This was not mentioned in https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2021/10297/ at all.
Our company has not moved to Monterey and I am testing on an older device that has Big Sur.
During setup on macOS Big Sur, there is not step for scannable image
This is expected behaviour. You could try upgrading the Mac you want to add to Monterey, add it using Configurator for iOS and then downgrade to Big Sur.
Found the requirements at the end of video. Has to be a T2 chip Mac or M1 running Monterey. Not a helpful tool in my case.
