My M1 MacBook Pro Trackpad click is not working. It works fine but past 2 months it seems it is not clicking. And in the past 2 few days it is genuinely not working. When I click(Tap to click) something it is not clicking but when I click again then the thing clicked. Firstly it didn't bother me too much but now it creates a Lot of problem. I update my Mac to Monterey, boot it in safe mode even Erase all of its data and run diagnostics but the problem not fixed is anybody tell me what to do now?

This seems to be a problem with Monterey. I have noticed at times the click area sometimes is unresponsive, the cursor will move halfway across the screen or the UI doesn't respond to the first click. Wait and see what happens when 15.1 is release or you might have a swollen battery causing the track pad issue.

That should be macOS 12.1
