What do these forums have against nasty bugs?

If you enter "nasty" it gets converted to "*****". And we know many bug have this trait.

Because the software of the forum eliminates words that may appear potentially aggressive (even if yours is not in fact).

But their replacement with * is better than rejecting the whole post.

If that were the only issue with the forum, it would be a great forum…
