The problem in short: Customer uses single paid subscription on more than 5 macs.
We are developers of an app which is used mostly by small businesses and we sell it as a cheap yearly subscription.
It is VERY common for our customers to use the same Apple ID for purchases for all their machines. Recently we faced a customer who uses the same subscription on 10 macs at the same time. I don’t believe they are abusing the system; they just find it easier to manage orders via a single account. At least customer said they won’t mind purchasing more subscriptions but do not know how. And I do not know how to sell.
How to sell more subscriptions to users who use our app on several computers but via the same Apple ID?
Side notes:

I know this is bad practice to use the same Apple ID on many machines, but it is not me it is our customers who do this! And a lot of them.
I know Apple says “you can have ten devices (no more than five computers) associated with your Apple ID for purchases at one time”. Whatever this means it does not work in our case as customers can use the same Apple ID to use the same subscription on more than 5 devices.
