Safari Web extensions are incredibly slow to open. Is this a bug? Also is there no notification system for extensions?

When you say the extensions are slow to open, do you mean the popup? We have received reports about that.

There currently is no support for the notifications API. Please file some feedback for us at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com telling us what you want to use it for.
