The current system settings are not sufficient to allow booting additional simulators: maxFiles: 12288, openFiles: 11092, enforcedFilesBuffer: 1868

Sorry to hear you are having problems with the simulators. If you want to make sure to clean up all the current ones and start from a clean slate you could try opening Terminal.app and running killall -9 com.apple.CoreSimulator.CoreSimulatorService.
