Unable to reply to a question to the forum

I was trying to send a reply in URL https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/657081 and after loggin in, the Reply button disappeared.

Does anybody know why? I've just registered in the forum.

I've found an working alternative URL for sysdiagnose in

www.
jessesquires.
com/blog/2018/02/08/how-to-sysdiagnose-ios/

(the ones in the forum page don't work).

In that page (I had to break the domain because the forum doesn't let me send that URL) appears

https://developer.apple.com/bug-reporting/profiles-and-logs/?name=sysdiagnose

as the right URL for sysdiagnose.

Kind regards,
Oscar

P. D.: I have added a tag because I need at least one tag to be able to post in this forum, but I couldn't choose a right one because there isn't anyone that fits to my question.

Well, that’s weird, and it’s not something I’ve seen before.

Forums Feedback is a good place to discuss issues with the DevForums platform itself, so that’s where I’ve moved this thread. I’m not able to help you with your IAP issue. My goal here is to help you resolve the DevForums issue so that you can then participate properly in other discussions.

Apropos that, my first recommendation is that you file a bug about your inability to reply to posts. Regardless of what else happens, a bug report will bring the issue to the attention of the DevForums team.

Please post your bug number, just for the record.

Beyond that, I have some questions for you:
  • Does the problem only show up on that specific thread? For example, can you reply here? \[If you can’t reply here, send me an email at the address in my signature.\]

  • What browser are you using? Do you still see the problem if you try a different browser?

  • Are you doing this on the Mac? If so, try creating a new account to see if the problem follows you there.

I looked at

I got a reply button.
Hello Eskimo. I apologize for the delay in replying, but I don't usually visit the forum. I posted another comment today, and when I checked my profile I saw that there were answers to this question. Today I went back to the URL where I didn't have the reply button, and I still don't have it. In this thread, as is evident, I have been able to. In other places where I comment I'm used to receive email notifications when there is a reply, and then I go the the forum to read it.

As you suggester, I filed a bug, and the URL is:

https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/feedback/9062922

Thanks a lot for your answer.
So it looks like you succeeded to reply to some posts here.

Does it work now for the post listed in your initial post ?
Hello, Claude31

I wasn't able to reply in thread
Code Block
https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/657081

I explained it in the bug filed in https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/feedback/9062922 but I don't know whether you can read the information in that URL.

Kind regads,
Oscar
No, we don't have access to others bug reports.

I posted a question and had an Apple employee reply and ask for more information. But I can't reply or comment on the post to provide that info. I've tried signing into another account and had the same problem. Here is the post: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/706346
