App switcher lag problem

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and everything works perfectly except, very often, when I swipe up to go to Home Screen from any app, there’s a slight lag. This did not happen earlier but it’s happening very frequently now. I have rebooted multiple times and have updated to the latest version of iOS. Does anybody know what to do?
