Missing Push Notification Entitlement

Hi there,

When uploading an archive to the the store, it succeeded. However, soon after, I recived an email saying that it (the build) can not be processed as it is "missing push notification entitlement".

I plan on submitting a new build this evening. I have gone over the instructions left, but am never 100% on this. I am hoping someone can clarify the steps I need to take before my next submittal so that to save me repeats.

Instructions according to Apple:

Missing Push Notification Entitlement - Your app includes an API for Apple's Push Notification service, but the aps-environment entitlement is missing from the app's signature. To resolve this, make sure your App ID is enabled for push notification in the Provisioning Portal. Then, sign your app with a distribution provisioning profile that includes the aps-environment entitlement. This will create the correct signature, and you can resubmit your app. See "Provisioning and Development" in the Local and Push Notification Programming Guide for more information. If your app does not use the Apple Push Notification service, no action is required. You may remove the API from future submissions to stop this warning. If you use a third-party framework, you may need to contact the developer for information on removing the API.

What I have done:

I have gone into the App ID and enabled Push Notifications. I have two Profiles (one dev, one dist). I have no asset in the program that is requesting a push notification, so I am unclear on why this issue exists.

Anyhow, I will be creating a new archive and submission ( a 1-2 hour process), so if anyone can jump in with vital tips, I would appreciate it.

Thank You

Hi,

So this is still an issue.

What is odd, is that I have no Push device in my project, so no calls to Push. I turned off the App ID's ability to Push. I ensured in XCode that Push is turned off, yet when my archive succesfully uplaoded to the store, soon after, the binary was rejected, on the grounds as listed above.

??

Where is the call for the Push coming from???

Same issue here, the push notifications works fine, but got this email to.
