Cannot request Multicast entitlement for unpublished iOS app

I am looking for the steps to enable Multicast Entitlement for my unpublished app so that I can test it on devices.

I followed the instructions in this link (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/663271) but with the new process, I am not seeing an "Additional Capabilities" section when editing an app ID. For the old process, I don't see an "Additional Entitlements" page when creating a provisioning profile. I am logged into the master account so I should have the permissions to do so.

I tried to fill out the form on this page (https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/networking-multicast) but it requires an App Store URL. I can't provide it because this app is not ready to be published; I just need to test it.

I would appreciate any suggestions and thoughts on this topic. Thank you.

Thank you for bringing this up. Just like the App ID is optional for apps are you able to add N/A in the App Store URL field and then provide an explanation in the description box?

If this submission technique does not work for you follow up on this thread and I can inquire further on this.

Hello Matt. How I will know that my Multicast Entitlement request is approved by Apple? Which section on the Apple developer account to refer to?

How I will know that my Multicast Entitlement request is approved by
Apple?

The approval folks will send you an email.

Which section on the Apple developer account to refer to?

The multicast special entitlement shows up in the App ID capabilities editor, as discussed in the New Process post on Using the Multicast Special Entitlement.
