Big Sur issue with Safari App Extension

Lately we receive a lot of reports that our Safari Extension is no longer showing in Safari "Preferences > Extensions" since they updated to Big Sur.

The Safari App Extension however is installed. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Safari App Extension does not resolve the issue.

macOS: 11.0.1
Safari: 14.0.1

Anybody else experiencing this?
If you are able to find someone who can reproduce this, can they collect a sysdiagnose and file a bug report at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com?

Yes we are also receiving reports of this from our extension.
There are now also reports with Safari 14.0.2 on Mojave. Anybody any ideas what is causing this? Sadly we cannot reproduce the problem on our machines.

Also - for the Sea Creator extension, if you are developing this extension locally, make sure each time you start Safari you open the Develop menu and select "Allow Unsigned Extensions".
