PHPhotoViewController missing allowsEditing option

I understand the value in moving from the UIImagePickerController to the PHPhotoViewController, but it seems to missing the feature that allows the user to edit/crop the photo.

Am I missing something, or should I be submitting an enhancement request?

Please submit an enhancement request if you want allowsEditing to be added. You can also implement your own edit UI.

Thanks for the reminder, had meant to file the request but zoned out. Yes, I can create my own UI for editing, but that does not excuse the missing feature when Apple is trying to get us to replace one component with another. If there is a good reason for the missing feature then it would be nice to know what the reason is.
